Background:
I'm 14 and I loved dancing all my life and hope to be doing it for the rest of my life. I started dancing when I was 3. Then i changed dance studios and they asked me to be in their troupe. So I joined the troup and stayed there for 6 years. Then I quit that dance studio because it was too far from my house and too much dancing everyday. I was about 9/10 years old.
Then I started going to other dance schools and nothing compared to what I used to go to.
Now I'm 14 and I realized that this is my dream and when the registation starts in September of 07 I'm going back to my original dance studio. I'm scared that all my teachers will hate me and all my old friends because I left them and then they had change the whole routine. I'm also scared that I won't be able to get back into troup. I have the determination now to work hard. I'm traning everyday to get back to my flxability. Any tips or help becuase I'm so scared. |

You were a young child when you left and so were the other students... I really doubt they are going to hate you... And the teachers... they will be pleased you returned... serioulsy dont stress about it... If you love dancing and want to go back do it dont let a fear stop you... if it is your passion... your life... your dream... do it and dont let anyone stand in your way... The only way you will fullfill your dream is by doing your dream! A routine is just that... a routine... yes it can be frustrating changing a routine but all in all its a routine... if anyone hates you they are probably not worth being around anyway... be there to learn and dance... dont worry about the other people. I also wouldnt be suprised if by now others have also left and new people are there whom you can befriend.
