hi people. i guess i could be considered new here since ive never posted anything before but im definately a noob at dance.
i was just wondering how to get good at doin the robot or really just that stoppered, laggy type of danceing. i dont just mean the dumb robot dance where everyones always pretending to do but like the actually cool stuff.

in the planet b-boy thing here around a minute into it the guys got some pretty nice moves and is basically what im talking about i guess.

| The robot is really quite simple. All you do really is tense up, and un-tense, and in between you move. Practicing in front of a mirror helps, and watching others do it helps a lot, since you can see all their faults and what they do. Welcome! |

| My advice is to start just by moving one stiff body part at a time. You're body has hinges just like a robot would. Practice using these different hinges. Starting with just your arms practice moving one hinge or bend at a time. I hope this helps. |

| Oh, you wanna learn popping, huh? (that's what it's called, btw). My advice is to look up Mr. Wiggles. He has a lot of good beats, and a lot of good advice on how to start. Start by doing some basic drills. If you look up a move called the fresno, that'll get you started on how to hit. |
