I've been interested for oh...say, less than 24 hours, but so far, I've spent about 8 of them practicing or working out. I've always been a fan of martial arts/acrobatics, and performance. I guess it's just the movement, so naturally, breakdancing would rear it's head to me. It sounds fun, it looks fun, I'm a fast learner, so I figure: Why Not?
I'm very strong for my size (5'11" 135lbs. but I can bench 180). I realize it takes practice, and I've never had a problem with that. I what order did you learn your moves, so I can get a feel for what to focus on.
And for those of you interested in not only bboying, check out www.teamryouko.com |

K, well maybe I'll fire things up a lil' and tell you what I'm working on.
Toprock, as it is a definite must. I can pop and roll, pretty well. I've always had a good feel for music, so I don't need to be told to step out on beats 2 and 4..lol.
Six Step, just getting it smother, more comfortable.
Freezes, the easy ones. Getting my wrists used to that.
Handstands, I'm not afraid at least. I can hold myself up just fine. I can even do inverted pushups, but I lack the balance. That should come with time.
Give me tips. Give me ideas. Give me new things to try at my level. |

Hey, welcome to DF!
Sorry I haven't been on much. I've got a bunch of dance shows/competitions coming up, and haven't had much time to help out on the forum.
So, to make up a bit for that, here's some music for all you!

Oh, and on Team Ryouko, they came to my college last year. So cool. |
