White Nights Festival - 2007
St. Petersburg, Russia
For few weeks in June and July the northern city of Saint-Petersburg, Russia enjoys round the clock light. Yes, sun doesn’t completely set and the residents can enjoy few extra hours of light, music and ballet, celebrated annually by The White Nights International Arts Festival.

This year's Festival features the debuts of two young, promising and spectacularly beautiful young dancers:
Evgenia Obraztsova as Giselle
Alina Somova as Kitri in Don Quixote

Meet the stars of the XV International Festival STARS OF THE WHITE NIGHTS.
Valerii Gergiev, Artistic director of the Mariinsky Theater and one of the leading conductors of our time. The man never sleeps!
Olesya Novikova, Mariinsky soloist who reportedly possesses the most perfect ballet figure in the industry.
And a face to match
Dashing Michail Labukhin
The two heart throbs
Leonid Sarafanov
and Vladimir Shklyarov
And not to forget the stars of tomorrow - students of the famed Vaganova Academy.
