Yes it will, believe me I had a long break and I was tap dancing away within minutes of my first class, just relax and have fun.

I take it the injury was quite serious to not be able to dance for so long. Try to take it easy till your fitness returns, I didn't and pushed myself a liitle too hard, I didn't get injured but I realised afterwards that I could have. But I just got carried away in the moment with the excitement of being back in class. So be careful.

Glad you enjoyed yourself, told you not to worry. As for ballet does the school you goto have ballet at all even for children, you may be able to join in with them or the teacher may even start an adult class if you ca get anyone else interested. Try you never know your luck. Hope the back doesn't play you up at all. Its sounds as though it was really painful. if I stopped dancing even for a while I think I'd stop living, there would be nothing left for me.

Hope everything goes well for you and you find some ballet.

It;s a university fitness centre where I am taking my lessons at the moment I could ask the teacher but not sure there would be enough interest!
