| As you mostly know I just started back with tap and jazz and our teacher has planned an open class so people can come watch, but i dont feel confident enough to have the people watch me yet....she says i dont have to do it cos i just joined but the other peopple in the class are pressurizing me to do cos apparently i am "really good" i dont know what to do, i thought my performing days were well and truly over! |

| u should totally do it!!! it doesn't matter what the people watching u think! and since u just started again, just have fun doing it and don't worry if you make some mistakes! |

But we will be there for moral support. As in you don't know what we really look like so pick some people out who look nice and friendly and pretend its us, then we can support you.
Just have fun an open class is not like a performance anyway, its to get extra people to attend the classes and if everyone is perfect it can be daunting for a beginner to join in (I mean for someone watching the class), the whole idea is so the people watching can see how the class gels as a group and how the teacher corrects mistakes, so they can tell if they will fit in your class. So don't worry about it. |

| just remember their coming to watch your lesson, they arent expecting a perfectly performed pice that everyone know! you should definitly do it. enjoy and you should never worry what others think! be proud. |
