Competition coming up for NYC students in different categories. I chose dance. I have 2 years experience of tap and 2 years of ballet. I haven't done it in 3 years. I figure I'm a bit rusty so I plan on buying a tap DVD that will take me back to basics and routines I can use.
are routines such as Waltz Clog, Soft Shoe, and Time Steps, appropriate for a tap competition?
What DVDS do you reccomend? |

good luck for the comp!
Maybe something original would make a good competition peice, incorporating things like timesteps but the more u stand out the more the judges will like you!!!!! Put your own mark on your tap choreography! |

Try to choose a catchy or unusual piece of music and you will stand out more.
Don't forget to stretch your feet and ankles to make tham more supple, rotations are good, and good luck with the comp. |
