| I do Comtemporary Dance and Ballet and as A-Level and im finding it very hard to come up with some ideas to add in some HipHop and Jazz into my final piece has anyone got any videos with ideas on them i need originality...can anyone help me? [/b] |

I'm taking a choreography class these days, and since you are studying the thing I'm sure you know there are many, many different approaches to choreographing. Our teacher said that sometimes, when he gets stuck, he tries to take a step back and approach it from a different angle. You could even try some classic, boring methods of coming up with choreography (I'm sure you've been taught a lot about those things). Listen to the music more, explore your musicality. Think about what you're trying to say/feel. Play with levels and dynamics. Even the simplest moves can become very articulate that way.
