Hey guys! I used to be on alot, but I haven't been on in a long time. So I just had knee surgery and am mentally ready to dance after being out for 4 months (only been 4 weeks since the surgery thought). Any suggestions on ways to get a dance fix while still not able to put any weight on my leg?

Well im new to the forum and this is my first post! haha. sorry to hear about your knee, no dance must be killing you. I was in year 12 last year and quit dancing to focus more on my schooling. ANYWAY... i found yoga to be a real help, it was no great strain on your body but i physically felt a great difference... especially in flexibility and i had more energy aswell. What physical activity have you been attempting lately?

I've just been trying to do some curls to keep my arms from getting weak, but as far as legs go just trying to lift my leg while pointed is proving difficult. I attempted sit-ups and that didn't go so well (but that was also the first week after surgery). any just upper body yoga poses??

I can suggest getting a book by Jessie Chapman on yoga. She has a few good books with pictures so u can have a look and see what u think you will be able to achieve and what you cant. not sure what your capabilities are atm so its hard to tell you some positions. It might be helpful to even look on the internet to see if there is anything. let me know how it goes.
