A friend just asked for some feedback on an "interpretive" dance he is involved in. I hate to say this but I actually laughed when I watched it. He's a nice guy and generally pretty artistic but it seems to be WAY off the mark.

Okay so it's not terrible, but you see what I mean right?
I'll admit to not being an expert on the subject but I think I know what kind of dance he's going for, it just misses the mark. Do any of you know of a better example of this style of dancing?
Maybe I could show him the professionally done version and offer some helpful advice on how to match that style more accurately, um... without being mean about it. |

Haha. Exactly.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's pretty strange. Good to hear it from a couple of other people. |

| It was unusual. To be honest, they don't look like trained dancers ... are they? |

| not to be facetious or anything, but that was a very ominous dance... It was a little odd at first seeing the guy blink, but then it got even more creepy when they actually started dancing... what were they... supposed to be...um, doing exactly? it looked very ummm...how can I describe it...sensual. |

I watched it and honestly it looks like there they are just playing around. I agree with whoever said they he should sit in on one of your classes.
Good luck |
