| well I'm new to ballet it was never really something I wanted to do but my mom always wanted me to join. so after she passed away I joined for her I figured I could give it a shot. but my instructor tells me that I have to much muscle for this and that I need to be less bulky. now I'm also a singer in a band and a mechanic so being bulky is my thing. so I wonder if its really that big of a deal and should I proceed with this ballet thing. any advice from anyone would be great. thanks |

| Welcome to the forums singer!!!! Im really sorry about your mom :cry: . It doesn't matter what your shape is unless you want to be a professional dancer. If you want to just dance for fun, go for it! And good job on being in a band :D That sounds fun. I hope this helps. :shock: |

:) Hi Singer i see your from IL too . Welcome to Dance Forms. :( Sorry to here about your mom s passing. I just lost my :( dad back in Sept. Hang in there you be ok time heel s the wound s.
Hey stay with the :D Ballet Classes :D there great and you will learn a lot too not only how to do ballet but also about it and the history behind it too. |
