Hi guys, I'm new in this forum and I'm glad I found this.
I haven't taken any class for 4years and now I'm just becoming more and more obsest to learn to dance again.
There's a thing that just bothers me. Do you guys think, that there's a possibility for 23year-old female to become techinically great dancer? I mean, i started dancing when I was 11 and it was most likely show and discodancing with no kind of technique lessons. Then later on I started competing in discodancing and just practised mostly only dancing and few jumps. I took jazz-lessons 6 years ago and it lasted only one year.
But now, since watching so you think you can dance and also live dancing in theatres etc. I really know that I have to dance again, but I'm worried I have , as you might say, had my chance but I didn't use it.
Now I'm asking you, do you have any tips, how to practise jumps, flexibility, techinique jne. besides going to classes? How can I get better in short time. I'm not in a hurry in anything, but as you might realise, I can't train for 15 years, coz the I'll be 38 and maybe not dancing anymore... |

ill say you should go for it!! try your best and if you try hard im shour youll get better soon... besides dont wait any longer!!
i think there are some companys for adults like older people maybe you can find one and if you dont you can do what a friend did... get some people togather that also want to perform and get dancing a little bit more formal and start your own "company" Iva actualy watched some of my friends performances and thay do them for realy cheap and thay have lots of fun and they do it realy well .... who knows maybe if you get a good idea you could have lots of public!!
try your best :D |
