Have you heard of or ever seen the production Tap Dogs?
When I left my previous place of employment, a coworker who know of my love of dance, took me to see Tap Dogs Rebooted at our local performing arts center as a way of saying good bye and thanks. It was AMAZING!
Tap Dogs consists of a group of eight (I think) tap dancers who tap in work boots (think construction type shoes) and very casual (think factory or construction type) clothing. The stage is set up with a platform that raises, lowers, slants, splits in two, etc. The dancers then tap up and down the platform, across the split. It's so phenominal. The sets also include a upside down dance performance, tapping up and down ladders, tapping in pans of water.
The best part, most of the tapping is done acapella. The music is from the tappers' rhythms!

Tap Dogs....awesome!!! My son Gabe went to see it with friends and I've heard nothing but raves about it.
Gabe and Angelica have taken master classes from one of the tap dogs. It was a couple of years ago tho and I'd have to ask the kids the name of the particular guy. Can't remember. I do remember that he was very nice. |

| What an amazing opportunity! To take classes with one of the Tap Dogs... Oh I wish I could take even a few steps with one of them...they are so talented. You can tell they really love dancing and performing! |
