I was wondering if any of you have a portable bar at home?
My daughter has said she'd like to have one.
I'm thinking her dad could make one out of PVC pipe, but I'm wondering if that would be sturdy enough.
I've read that you really aren't supposed to put your weight on the bar, so PVC works well since it's only there to help with balance.
I believe they have an extra bar at her studio that's PVC, but I've never seen them use it. They do have one thats black metal pipe that they use, plus the ones mounted to the wall.
Any suggestions/ideas??
Thanks! |

its true you arent supose to poat weight into the bar, but sometimes we do, at first the bare its there to help us so sometimes if we are going to fall we hold to the bar realy hard, or when we do new exercises that are dificult at first we do hold with strength. I think it would be better to get a harder and stronger bar. At my ballet they have wood bars that maybe could be esy to build, and they have metal ones. I think those are the best, so that even if you are not suposed to poat weight into the bar you can if necesary...
