| i have had both my splits for a while now, but i cant do them quite perfectly, my problem is mainly holding them without my hands for a while. does anyone have any stretches i could do :?: |

| The main thing is to make sure that you are consistent with your stretching; if you want to improve, you should be stretching every day for 15-20 minutes. For your splits, just make sure to go down as far as you can, then slowly walk your hands forward on the floor and drop your head to your knee. This helps gravity pull you down so that the stretch is deeper. Try to hold it for at least a minute. And yes, it does hurt, but it gets better every time you do it! I have been dancing for a long time so my splits are perfect, and if you really want to do them, it is worth it to keep working on them. Well, I hope this helps. |
