Hello Irish Dancing world! :D

so, I am almost 15 and a half, and i began irish dancing when i was in the 2nd grade [7 yrs old?] but 3 years later, my school shut down so i had to stop dancing. I've always thought about getting back to dancing, but i never actually did it until now. I just reccently signed up for the winter session at a very SMALL irish dancing school near my house.

Is it too late for me to start dancing again? Will I ever be able to compete?
I really want to compete in a feis but I'm scared that I'm too old!

Also, because my school is very small, they don't actually have a group that goes to feis and other competitions [only beginner, adv beginner, intermediate and advanced]
Am I allowed to enter a competition individually, apart from my school?

Does anyone know of Irish Dancing school in the Baltimore/Maryland area?!

Thanks so much for your help! :D

You're definitley not too old to start competing! I think you can sign up for a feis as a self-taught dancer as long as that is okay with your teacher.

And if you do decide to change schools instead, you might try the Broesler school in Maryland :)
