New member here, first post. I wasn't sure which particular forum to post in, but Hip Hop seems to be the style most like mine.
I danced for 11 years (Started at 3, stopped at 14) and quitting was the biggest mistake of my life. :( I swear, I've missed dancing ever since I quit, but none of the schools near me teach anything other than ballet, jazz, and tap. All the examples of modern dancing I've seen are too slow for me. Keep in mind that's just what I've seen.
I recently started watching America's Best Dance Crew, and since then I haven't stopped looking over the clips of the dances literally every day. I'd kill to be in a crew. I know that probably sounds lame and like I'm just trying to "follow the crowd" but really, it seems like the only style of dancing that would fit me. I prefer dancing in groups and ballet/jazz/tap just isn't my style anymore.
