Hi All,
I'm new to this forum but hopefully some of ye might be able to help me. I'm looking to learn how to Tap dance, unfortunately there are no lesson available in my area, I'm done a small amout of Tap already. I'm looking for advice on a good DVD series or a number of dvd's that I can learn from. There are alot of DVD's out there if you do a search on the net but some are by people who are just chancing there arm and I want to spend my money wisely. Can anyone here recommand a good DVD series. I'm looking for more of a musical style. I am committed to learning and want to achieve a high level. I' dedicated to the cause, as it could be said!

I'm not all that familiar with beginner DVD's but I believe Tap Dance Made Easy is a popular one. I've seen some samples of the DVD's and i have a different approach to technique but I think his style is up your alley. I do have a lot free resources you can "tap" into into in the meantime (forgive the pun).
I have the world's largest tap dance dictionary and syllabus with over 280 tap steps on video and broken down and shown on the left as well as the right. You can find them at http://www.unitedtaps.com. I have another site http://www.tapdancelessons.com that has a complete beginners class, and beginner combinations to get you started. Good Luck!
