| I have Russian Pointe Rubin and I love them, but they are constantly coming off my heel. They don't have drawstrings, but they fit my foot well. I tried a size smaller, but those slipped off even more. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? |

Hi,
to stop my shoes slipping off my feet I find attaching some elastic from the centre of top of the heel in a loop so you can slip it on and it holds on to te ankle under the ribbons. You have to be careful not to make it so tight that it cuts in to you though. Another good idea for extra security is to criss cross some elastic across you feet as you would with soft shoes. Hope this helps you!

| What My teacher taught me when I was learning to teach, was to make a small loop with elastic on the back of the pointe shoe, and sew it to just the top edge. One end of the loop on the out side, and one on the inside. Then sew it in place. You then thread the ribbons through the loop and tie them as usual. this keeps the heel of the point shoe from slipping when you roll up to your box. :) |
