Having trouble with my center split, I've been doing "pancake stretches" (is that what they're called?), but not really helping. When someone pushes me down, I can get pretty close to the floor without pain, but I can't really get myself down....My actual stretch is still about 7 in. off the ground, any good stretches you know about?
Also, I have been working on my right and left splits, about 3-4 inches off the ground--maybe it seems like a lot, but I've only been stretching for about 2 weeks, and noticed a [i:b1ce2e74b5]lot[/i:b1ce2e74b5] of progress. Is it unreasonable to want to get them by mid-September??
Thanks!!!![/i] |

| no, I don't think mid-september is unreasonable. But you'll have to stretch every day. I'm not sure about the pancake stretch, but for my center split, I turn my feet out and put my elbows on my knees and push them back as much as I can. also, when you go out into your split, try putting slippers or a sweater under your feet. any kind of cloth, because it will help you slide out farther. |
