|
|
| I'm choreographing a tap dance to Aaliyah's Are You that Somebody and am having a hard time with some sections. I want it to have a hip hop flair, but we still have to tap. Any suggesstions on how I can make this work or does anyone know any web sites I can check out to get ideas? |

Perhaps try watching a few hip hop videos and seeing if you can change the steps to incorporate tap.
You may also want to try just having the music on and letting your body lead you through what feels natural. Then change it to incorporate taps.
I'm sure that's not really helpful, but I don't know what else to offer for suggestions.
All the best! |

| Hmmm... Maybe look into things like "Stomp", "Tap Dogs" and "Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk". I'm not sure what's around and available, but they might be a good start...especially if you can find some video clips. |

Bummer! Perhaps next time or maybe you'll vacation somewhere they're performing! :D |
