I'm searching for a song I heard during a dance show. I can't even remember the name of the troupe, but the instructor was out of PA. They were awesome, and the music was beautiful. The only thing I can think of what it may be called is "Arabian"

I can upload a clip of the song if it's allowed. It's not a complete song, but I really would like to find it.

Also, does anyone know of a dance troupe out of PA, where the instructor's name might be Veronica? Something like that?

Welcome, Little Cessna!

Do you have any words for the song? I might be able to do a quick search with words and get you an artist/title...

I'm not from the PA area, so I can't help you there. I'm sure another member of the Forum will be able to assist thought.

Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Hi dancersdreamland... thanks for the welcome! I'm happy to find a forum that actually has belly dance in it, and the other types of dancing too.

The music doesn't have words. It's instramental, with an incredible drum beat to it.

The dance troupe traveled to FL from PA and put on a work shop there. That's how I first found out about them, then that night, they put on a show for all of us.

It was kind of funny. I was reading the "embarrasing moments" thread and I just remember about the instructor's incident during that show. Her bra strap came undone, and she went to an audience member to have them do it back up, then she quickly got back to her dance, almost not missing a beat! It even got video taped.. poor woman, but she laughed.

I would have died.

Amazing story! Like you, I would have just been mortified. Nice to know someone in the crowd was a quick save... I hope if I'm ever in a similar situation and I'll be able to turn to someone to do the same.

Hmm...without words it would be very difficult to know the song. Is there any way to find out the name of the troupe...perhaps from the location where they held the show. Then you could at least do a web search for a website and such and then just ask them the song. Or maybe the people who hosted their performance would be willing to pass along contact info...
