Any ideas on how to get students that are not neccessarily tappers to tap? I specialize in jazz, and for me musical theatre style tap is the easiest for me. Do you think it is possible for a jazz dancer to do hoofing?

I think it could be possible. There's an amazing dance group, I believe called Jump, Rythem, and Jazz that combines jazz with tap. It's amazing and beautiful.

My suggestion would be to find out the interest in the group learning some tap steps and then start with the basics. Keep it loose and funky and throw in as much jazz as possible to stay within the students' realm of understanding.

Have fun!
