| Any ideas for new tap choreography? It seems that every time I go to choreograph an advanced tap dance, I end up using the same steps. Does anyone have suggestions for coming up with new tap steps or rhythms? I would love some fresh food for thought! |

| If you look on mine and my brother's website in the video section there are some advanced tap numbers that might give you an idea. Look at my tap solo from last year called "Miss Otis Regrets" and the group of "Let's get it Started" which is mostly Rhythm but a teeny bit of turns. They are both advanced and maybe you'll get ideas from them. The choreographer of those is really in demand in San Diego because she's good with all styles and mixing them too. It's a unique style. My brother and I have a character tap routine on there too "Where did you learn to dance?" It's not as hard because it's lots of character but there is one real tappy part. Well good luck. |
