Ok some how I missed out about hearing about Krumpin'. I saw the movie lastnight and it was so sick. Now I don't dance myself, but I'm a huge fan of all styles. Competition hip hop is so weak and I hate seeing hip hop get washed out. Yeah there is some good dancing in videos, but you really can't see the heart of hip hop unless its straight from the roots.
RIZE was as core as you can get. You know you are watching the real thing when it gives you chills. The fact that it was a documentry did it even more justice.

I haven't heard of this movie. :oops: I'll have to keep an eye out. Sounds like it is my type of thing. :P
I guess it may be some time before it gets over here (England) if it is new in America though. |

it's a pretty cool film
it's done documentary style, and can get boring at parts
but the dancing is phenomenal (sp?) and it seems unrealistically fast at times, it's quite a sight |

yeh i have watched that film and enjoyed it :)
if you are into those films you can watch one called stomp the yard
its the same as rize ( krump ) but its a film not a documentary. |

| Stomp the yard focuses a lot on stepping, which is fairly different from krumping. They do put some krump in it, but I found that neither the stepping nor the krumping was particularly good. |
