| [i:a419f1eae5]There are a number of types of dance shoes that the dancer requires to tap the feet in accord to the tune. However, you will invariably need the jazz dance shoes, especially designed for you jazz dance in order to keep your foot tapping with the pulsating shimmer of the jazz music.[/i:a419f1eae5] |

| I would have to say that yes most of the time you would wear Jazz shoes, but there is the odd occassion where you would be wearing a different type of footwear to dance in. Depends on the style of Jazz and what type of choreography. This year, I am doing a jazz dance piece and the choreographer thinks that wearing shoes would look weared with our costumes and decided that we were to go without any shoes, but it is still a very jazzy number. |
