Hey guys.
I've just joined this dance forum. :D I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to make some dancing friends. None of my friends at home share my passion for dance so sometimes I feel alone. I'm hoping I can come here and chat amongst you all and feel part of the dancing community.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Louise and I live in England. I am 30 years old, married for 5 years and for a day job I am the manager of a successful local newspaper. I used to dance a lot when I was in my teens but then after I went to college and then got a job, I kind of drifted out of it. 2 years ago, I noticed some classes being advertised in my paper and went along and haven't stopped dancing again since. I go to weekly classes in hip hop and ballet as well as a pilates class, plus whenever there are special dance workshops etc on in my area I try to go. Hip hop is my passion.
My ballet teacher has just said that I can go onto pointe which I am very excited about and I have been taking my exams in hip hop. The first exam I passed with honours and I am waiting for the results to my second one which should be very soon now. :o
I have been asked to appear in the ballet Christmas Show which I am very excited about and I have danced on national tv once in March on a quiz show.
So thats kind of it, I hope to get chatting with you all very soon. Hope you don't mind if I take look at some of the other posts now and make some comments. 8)
