Hello! I'm not a bboy/bgirl, but simply wanted to say hello and let you know I'm looking forward to learning more about break dance from you and other members of this forum.

Hey, I'm a BBoy, and it's all I do in terms of dancing. It's my favorite style of dancing. Just wanna say that, and that I'd love to spread my love for bboying to everybody, so if anybody has any questions, I'll try to answer them.

Can you suggest any good ways to learn break dancing? There aren't any studios in my area which offer this art form and I don't know anyone who dances it... Are there videos you can recommend?

Well, you can see my tutorial in the other thread, because that outlines the basics. Otherwise, you can basically just go and find videos online. A great place for professional footage is www.bboyworld.com/forum under New Rawfootage, and that's where you can find new ideas for moves to try and stuff. For just starting, it's actually nice to check out www.bboy.org, because that's a pretty well established community of bboys. I don't particularly like it because there tends to be a lot of flaming going on in their forums, but it's a great help if you just check out their moves section and whatnot.
