Just finished my dance show...

Hey everyone...I Just wanted to post on here because I've just finished my first dance show with my new dance school and it was AMAZING!
Out of two shows and many many dances, I only made a couple of minor mistakes which I think is brilliant!!

I loved every minute of it and being backstage and on stage gives me such a buzz...does it anyone else?
Helping the little ones get ready and seeing them in their costumes, hearing the music and stressing about the quick changes, I find, is all part of the fun!

Also, it was my first show where I was singing...I've been taking lessons for about 5-6 months now so I went out there and did it and I wasn't nervous @ all(though I thought I would be) and performed my heart out. I sang "On my own" from "Les Mis." Everyone complimented me and I was so proud of myself. That was the one part of the show were I wanted to do really well :D

well..thats better, I just feel so..happy :D
I hope no one thought this was a pointless post..heehee

Ooh, I get butterflies of excitement just reading your post... Dancing on its own is wonderful, but performing is all whole new level of excitement. And dancing and singing...what talent!

Thank you so much you guys...its so great to find a forum that you can talk to about the things you truly love and have them understand...its just not as good talking to your non-dancer friends about things like this :D
