My apologies as this post really applies to our US members... It is not intended to uninclude any of our participants.
What are you doing for the big fourth of July weekend? Camping? Fireworks?
We'll be working on planting our new lawn and finishing up with moving things into the new house. |

| We always have a big party on the 4th with a bunch of good family friends from our old church. They come around 4 and we have dinner, and then after dinner people stay however long they want and we play games and stuff. We don't shoot off fireworks because pretty much all the good ones are illegal where I live :( |

| Gabe, Angel and I went to the baseball game yesterday....Padres against the Giants...we won 9 to 6...yay...great game. They both are currently sleeping over at the two friends houses who came with us to the game. I guess we will take it easy today and go to the fireworks tonight at the lake. We are all pretty tired due to getting back from finals. |

DancerBee and dancemom - Sounds like you guys had super weekends!
We worked hard on the lawn and have the entire front and one side of the house done. My husband has off most of this week and I have Thursday-Monday off, so we'll likely finish the back yard too! Hooray!
I didn't get to the big firework display in my area, but my neighbors sent off a huge display Saturday night. My cats went nuts, but it was an enjoyable show. |

In Canada, the 1st of July is Canada Day in celebration of the day that Canada officially separated from Britain. So, it was a long weekend for us too. :)
On Thursday night, I flew down to Virginia for a friend's annual Canada Day/4th of July party. She lives on 15 acres of land and has a huge pool. There were about 20 people there and we had tons of music, food, swimming, sunshine and fireworks with amazing company! It was fabulous! A friend of mine even flew in from London, England for the party. He flew back up to Toronto with me on Monday and is staying here until Saturday. :) |
